Residents and road users are being invited to meet the team behind the A46 Walsgrave junction upgrade. The major scheme is designed to reduce congestion and boost the economy in the Midlands.
The multi-million pound project, which received government approval in February, will transform the existing three-arm priority roundabout at Walsgrave into a free-flowing junction, removing a significant bottleneck for the 57,000 drivers who use the road every day, according to the Stratford Herald.
The upgrade forms part of National Highways’ commitment to improve the A46 Trans-Midlands Trade Corridor, supporting economic growth, employment and housing development between the M5 and the Humber Ports
Two public information events will take place where people can find out more about the scheme and what it means for their journeys:
Monday 15 June – Tesco Superstore, Clifford Bridge Road, Coventry, 10am-4pm.
Tuesday 16 June – Warwickshire Shopping Park, Kynner Way, Binley Coventry, 10am-4pm.
