A 55-mile official diversion will be in place on a main road in Powys next week. Traffic Wales has confirmed that a section of the A483 near Newtown is set to be closed for several days, says Powys County Times.
Part of the A483 road near Dolfor will be closed most of next week during the daytime. The closure has been booked in from Monday 29 September 29 from 9am to 3.15pm and will last until Friday 3 October.
An official diversion will be in force and signposted over the course of the week. The route will take drivers down the A44 and the A470 via Llanidloes and Rhayader the route is 90.64 kilometres.
