PTV Group announces further expansion in the UK

Global transport modelling firm PTV Group has continued its expansion in the UK with the appointment of two more specialists to support the growing workload of new and existing business in the north Europe region.

Catherine (Cat) Evans joins as an Account Manager to support clients and growth while Hussein Falih joins as a Senior Modeller to support clients and technical work.

This continues PTV Group’s significant investment in the UK. Having started with one person in 2013, these two appointments takes the British-based team to 16 members based in London and the Birmingham office at 54 Hagley Road.

PTV UK Managing Director Devrim Kara explained why the appointments were needed. “The PTV UK team is becoming an increasingly important team for us globally,” he said, “We are committed to invest further not only to support our UK clients but also our clients across the north Europe region and worldwide.”

Cat Evans said, “I am excited to work for PTV Group after having used the cutting-edge modelling software PTV Visum and Vissim. The PTV UK team has been most welcoming and I look forward to support our clients in UK, Ireland and the north Europe region at this exciting time for with many opportunities for innovation in transport and mobility planning.”.

Hussein Falih said, “I learned a lot working in transport consultancy, but I am also happy to be back at PTV where I started my transport modelling career. I am looking forward to supporting our clients in the application of PTV Visum and it’s innovative new features.”

Cat Evans joins from Transport for London where she was a Senior Modeller working with the TfL ONE model in PTV Visum and strategic road models in the PTV Vissim software platforms.

Hussein Falih joins from WSP where he was a Senior Modeller working on transport consultancy projects for clients in the UK and worldwide. Previously Hussein worked for PTV Group’s Dubai team.
