Milestone Infrastructure, a part of M Group Services, has secured its first contract under Eastern Highways Framework Three, to remodel and improve Blackburn Road in Dunstable on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council.

The Company says it will be using its expertise in highway maintenance to reconstruct the carriageway, install a new drainage system and resurface the road.

The works are designed to help alleviate flood risk and improve roads around the business district in central Bedfordshire. The contract is set to last 16 weeks.

“This scheme provides the platform for expansion into a new geographical area, creating further opportunities for the whole business.”

EHF3 was launched by the Eastern Highways Alliance which consists of 10 councils in the east of England and Milestone is one of the successful contractors managing local authority infrastructure.
