Traffic Group’s AGD and MAV Systems showcasing innovations at Atlanta Congress

The Traffic Group will exhibit at next week’s ITS World Congress in Atlanta, bringing together two of its leading companies – AGD Systems and MAV Systems – on the UK & ERTICO ITS-Europe Pavilion. 

AGD Systems will showcase its latest advancements in intelligent detection. The NEMA-approved AGD650, harnesses edge-based AI to deliver high-accuracy detection and enhanced traffic control performance across a wide range of applications and is proving popular in the North American market. For those looking at highways and multilane applications, AGD presents the AGD343 highways radar, a proven solution for effective monitoring and enforcement applications. 

Alongside AGD, MAV Systems will present its new AiQ ANPR camera, a next-generation automatic number/licence plate recognition solution capable of reading plates from multiple countries. Designed for international use, AiQ also introduces ghost plate detection, ensuring accuracy and reliability in even the most challenging environments. The highly flexible product features a range of data export and integration options for parking operators, system integrators and enforcement organizations worldwide.

The UK & ERTICO ITS-Europe Pavilion features seven UK companies – alongside AGD and MAV Systems are Immense, Intelligent Instruments, Navtech Radar, Nicander and Zenzic. There will also be a strong delegation from the West Midlands to promote Birmingham’s hosting of the 2027 ITS World Congress at the National Exhibition Centre – the first time the UK has hosted the event since London in 2006.
