More than 200 delegates and 20 exhibitors are meeting in London at this year’s Road Tunnel operators forum annual conference.

The event, sponsored by VVB and LBA at the Institution of Civil Engineers today (7 Feb) and tomorrow (8 Feb) hears from speakers from National Highways, TfL, maintainers, operators, designers, technology suppliers and contractors.

They will look at, among other things, carbon issues, safety, traffic management and fire safety.

The event also includes a technical visit to Westminster Abbey to understand how the team there manage that prestigious asset, including fire protection.
