Yunex Traffic showcase at Highways UK

Yunex Traffic is to showcase its industry-leading solutions at the Highways UK exhibition, with the company’s automated, free-flow tolling, tunnel management, connected vehicle, EV charging and traffic control systems all on display.

The company stand will feature its solutions for free-flow-tolling which are deployed in projects both in the UK and globally, a range of sophisticated roadside vehicle detection and classification equipment, including the widely used Sicore II cameras and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) laser scanners, as well as data fusion capabilities.

The sophisticated roadside-based tolling solution uses proven technology for vehicle detection, classification and identification, harnessing the flexible configuration of roadside components to suit different site-specific requirements. Vehicles that use a defined section of highway, tunnel or crossing are detected, classified, identified and matched to a vehicle passage record, for subsequent payment processing.

Also featured will be the company’s Varia tunnel management system that contributes to greater safety in tunnels with situation-specific warnings and speed limits. The system monitors and controls lighting, ventilation, power supply, fire detection and pumps, as well as controlling variable message and traffic signs, permanent lights and barriers. It can also integrate toll, video, emergency call and data collection systems, working seamlessly with traffic centres and outstations.

Wilke Reints, Managing Director for Yunex Traffic in the UK, said: “Our experts will be available throughout the show to discuss our latest tolling and enforcement solutions, as well as our transformative Plus+ traffic control system, our comprehensive EV charging infrastructure and service capabilities and our latest V2X roadside units which have featured in recent connected vehicle trials.

“We are looking forward to welcoming customers and partners from across the industry and to demonstrating the breadth of our capabilities, both across our product portfolio and the range of support and maintenance services we provide.”
