Hargreaves Land has confirmed details of further temporary road closures at the Bankton Junction of the A1 to allow final surfacing works to be carried out on the southbound A1 slip road.
A full overnight closure will be in place for seven consecutive nights, from 7.30pm to 6.30am, between Friday 7th February and Thursday 13th February inclusive.
During these overnight closures, traffic will be diverted from the A1 onto the A199, travelling through Prestonpans via the B1361 and A198, before rejoining the A1 at Bankton Junction.
In addition, on Sunday 8th February, the Bankton Junction off-slip will be fully closed between 6.30am and 9.00am with diversions in place and a lane closure will be in place on the A1 mainline southbound on the same day between 6.30am and 3.30pm.
The Bankton Junction project is being delivered by Luddon Construction on behalf of Hargreaves Land, in collaboration with Transport Scotland and East Lothian Council.
