ITS UK publishes Annual Conference 2026 agenda

ITS UK has published the agenda for its Annual Conference, taking place at Interchange in Manchester on 3-4 March. The ITS UK Annual Conference gathers leaders from industry, government and academia to explore the future of intelligent transport in the UK.

A highlight of the transport technology calendar, the ITS UK Annual Conference will be headlined by Patricia Thornley, the Department for Transport’s new Chief Scientific Advisor. The event, supported by headline sponsors Amazon Web Services and silver sponsors Arup and Snapper Services, provides a forum for senior decision-makers from the public sector, academia and industry to discuss everything from policy ideas to the practical delivery of intelligent mobility.

This year’s agenda builds upon ITS UK’s theme of the year: “Transport 4.0: Integrated | Intelligent | Inclusive”, exploring how the Fourth Industrial Revolution is reshaping our transport network. The conference will take place over both days of Interchange and is free to attend with Day One covering Digital Transport and Intelligent Mobility and Day Two covering Future of Roads; Freight, Logistics and Maritime; and Safety Tech.

Commenting on the publication of the agenda, Max Sugarman, Chief Executive of ITS UK, said:

“Our Annual Conference is a key moment for ITS UK and the transport tech sector as a whole. It is our yearly gathering to discuss the state of play of the industry, share insights, challenge thinking and discuss the future of our transport system. This year’s agenda reflects the scale of opportunity for transport technology organisations to support a more integrated, efficient and digitally-enabled network.

“We look forward to welcoming members and partners to Manchester for two days of great discussion and knowledge sharing.”
