Amey has been appointed by Transport for London (TfL) to its Infrastructure Improvement Framework, a major programme valued at up to £700 million, reinforcing its role as a leading integrated infrastructure partner for complex transport systems.
Running for two years from June 2026, with the option to extend, Amey will work alongside Costain and Dragados to support the delivery of a pipeline of station upgrades, tram infrastructure and step-free access improvements across London, helping to modernise critical assets and improve accessibility for millions of passengers. This appointment reflects Amey’s continued evolution as a global, integrated infrastructure consultancy and operations partner, combining deep operational expertise with advanced consulting to deliver better outcomes across the full asset lifecycle.
The framework is expected to include upgrades at Elephant & Castle and South Kensington stations, alongside wider step-free access and infrastructure programmes, with further projects added over time.
