AppyWay delivers kerbside management solution for London

A solution which allows freight and service vehicles to book kerb space in Greater London is being tried out.

AppyWay, which started off as a smart parking company, pitched the solution to Transport for London and was offered a pilot programme to let companies book kerb space for deliveries.

The idea is to reduce the number of vehicles driving around looking for a space, or those quickly parking on double yellow lines. The pilot’s aimed at demonstrating that a solution can improve the city’s environment as well as administratively and commercially.

AppyWay’s solution consists of showing where kerb space is available, allowing it to be booked and then feeding back on demand patterns.
