Clearview Intelligence named as main TTF Conference sponsor as agenda takes shape

The Transport Technology Forum has announced that highways and transport solutions provider Clearview Intelligence has signed up as the main sponsor for this year’s TTF Conference, which takes place in Leeds from 25-27 April.

This popular event supported by the Department for Transport and Innovate UK brings together national government, local authorities, suppliers and academia to explain government policy and showcase best practice and innovation in the use of technology.

Clearview Technology delivers a range of transport technology solutions, from intelligent solar road studs and traffic counters to video analytics and journey time management.

“The TTF Conference has really established itself as a must-attend event in the industry calendar,” commented Clearview Intelligence Managing Director Nick Lanigan.  “We are looking forward to three days talking with local authorities and national government decision makers about how the entire industry can work together to maximise the value of technological solutions that have been developed to make transport greener, safer and more efficient.  We are excited to discuss how Clearview Intelligence’s smart and sustainable data-led solutions can assist local authorities achieve their required goals.”

The TTF conference is a key event for practitioners in local authorities and their supply chains to better understand the use of technology to deliver improved local highway services. Using sponsorship revenue from the private sector, local authorities will be able to send a representative who will receive a place at the conference and an invitation to networking events, including the conference dinner.  They will have their hotel cost covered too.

“The TTF acts as a bridge between Central and Local Government, so it is vital that we get as many authorities along as is possible,” commented Kerry Winstanley, Finance and Operations Director and the Local Council Roads Innovation Group.  “As a community interest company, LCRIG is able to re-invest all sponsorship generously received from the private sector to enable representatives from local government to attend.”

The event will hear from a range of experts from the Department for Transport, Innovate UK, Local Authorities and other influential speakers to discuss challenges facing the sector, the latest funding programmes, wider transport policy considerations and ongoing government projects.  The draft agenda also includes detailed updates from the TTF’s six Working Groups, who cover connected vehicles, Urban Traffic Management and Control, Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure, parking, Mobility as a Service and open data. They will be covering their work from last year and plans for the forward year, including how their work is supporting councils. There will be opportunities for attendees at the conference to join the working groups and to be involved in the initiatives that are running throughout the coming year.  The supply chain will share insights into how technology solutions can help transform and solve future transport issues.

By sponsoring and exhibiting, private sector suppliers can showcase their companies in an extremely cost-effective way, get a chance to present to the delegates and meet senior central and local government transport leaders.  More information is available on the TTF website, or by contacting us at [email protected].
