Dubai uses speed cameras to enforce lockdown

Police in the UAE emirate of Dubai are using speed camera technology to identify people driving without permission.

During the Coronavirus lockdown there, people have to register to be allowed to travel in their cars. Only those approved are allowed out.

ArabianBusiness.com reports that Dubai Police has activated radar to track motorists violating restrictions during the National Sterilisation Programme hours.
