The safety and security solutions company Highway Care has launched a new barrier aimed at protecting against vehicle attacks at a range of sites including critical infrastructure.

The CLAW protection barrier is a quick-deployment surface mounted barrier which has been tested against various vehicles travelling at up to 40 mph.

It can be installed over kerbs, curves and against walls, making it the most versatile option in temporary security. Every single element can also be connected with others creating a completely fenced and protected area.

The company says it can also be deployed at sports, outdoor markets, music festivals, shopping centres, industrial sites and public services. It also has space for sponsorship messages which can be sold to mitigate against costs.
