Highways England has started the search for contractors to deliver structure inspection surveys.

Its latest contract notice said the work would involve structiural, general and principal inspections as well as the overall monitoring and reporting of structures.

This will see contracts will be awarded in six geographical regions: Yorkshire and North East, North West, East, Midlands, South East, South West. The £42m total value is split between all six regions evenly inthis contract.

Lot 1 is in Yorkshire and North East, lot 2 in the North West, Lot 3-the Midland, Lot 4-the East, Lot 5-the South East and Lot 6-South West.

The deadline for tenders for interested contractors is June 22nd.
