Sustainable building materials supplier Holcim UK has announced that it has won eight new supply contracts to support the rejuvenation of public roads across England. The company was awarded eight new tenders across its asphalt and contracting businesses between December 2025 and June 2026, reports Agg-Net

Among the new wins are two highway contracts in the East Midlands; a highways framework for Lincolnshire County Council; and a planned carriageway maintenance framework for Nottingham City Council.

In the North East, Holcim UK have secured concrete resurfacing and highways patching work for South Tyneside Council, while in the North West, Totally Local Company, a local Stockport contractor, has awarded the firm a contract to supply and deliver Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) asphalt and associated products.

In the West Midlands, Wolverhampton City Council has appointed Holcim to its Black Country highways works framework.

Two further contracts strengthen the company’s position in southern England. Holcim are supporting Balfour Beatty’s works on Eridge Road in Boarshead, East Sussex, while Wiltshire Council has awarded the business a specialist highway works materials supply framework contract.

Kevin Murgatroyd, managing director of Holcim UK’s Contracting division, said:

“These eight contract wins reflect the strength of our asphalt and contracting business and our position as one of the UK’s leading suppliers for vital infrastructure projects.

“We’ve secured this work by sourcing materials locally from our network of sites across the UK, thereby reducing the carbon footprint of road maintenance. With ambitious infrastructure goals ahead for the UK, Holcim is ready to support central and local government and our industry partners in delivering them.”
