Intertraffic postponed over Coronavirus fears

The major Intertraffic transport event in Amsterdam has been postponed for a year because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

It’ll now be held on 23-26 March 2021.

The organisers say they’re responding to requests from exhibitors and point to the fact that 90% of the exhibitors are international and in 2018 visitors originated from 140 countries.

“The international character of the event is significantly impacted by the measures taken in other countries,” they say in a statement. “The top three exhibiting countries outside The Netherlands are China, Italy and Germany. In these and other countries, measures have been put in place which influence exhibitor’s and visitor’s ability to attend.”
