Knowsley Council has started its search for contractors for a highways works contract.

The council is looking for contractors to deliver a range of services all based around planned and reactive maintenance and highways capital investment projects.

The Highways Term Service and Associated Professional Services contracts will run for seven years with a possible three year extension.

The contract will form two lots-one for highways term maintenance with a value of £90 million and the second for professional services, worth £10 million.

The closing date for interested contractors is: November 16, with the contract due to start in April 2025.
