LCRIG has announced that it has received an incredible number of entries for the DfT Special Recognition Apprentice Awards and the Inspiring the Future Competition – shining a spotlight on some of the most dedicated and inspiring apprentices in the highways and transport technology sector.
The awards will be presented at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival on Tuesday 2 July 2025. Finalists will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, congratulations to everyone who has been nominated:

Inspiring the Future Competition
Alongside the award nominations, we also received some fantastic entries for the Inspiring the Future Competition, which called on apprentices to share their ideas for encouraging more young people into careers in highways and transport.
