Strictly Highways 2026 awarded CPD certification

LCRIG has announced that Strictly Highways 2026 has received CPD certification by the CPD Certification Service. This recognition ensures that delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance, demonstrating their commitment to continued professional development.

At this year’s event, taking place at Blackpool’s Wintergardens from 6-8 October, delegates will have the opportunity to hear from a diverse lineup of speakers, including representatives from local authorities, central government, and the wider sector. Discussion will focus on practical case studies and sector expertise focused on the key challenges, priorities and opportunities currently shaping the sector, including:

  • Policy, funding and transparency
  • Road Maintenance and Asset Management
  • Materials and treatments
  • Resilience and climate adaptation
  • Drainage and water management
  • Technology, data and
  • Collaboration and delivery
  • People, skills and workforce

Strictly Highways brings together the whole highways community, including local authorities, the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain, and media. The event provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn about new innovations and technologies, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT, and network across two days in the glittering setting of the Winter Gardens Ballroom.

In addition to a comprehensive conference programme, Strictly Highways will host over 50 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services. The event offers numerous networking opportunities, including an awards ceremony and an evening gathering that encourages industry peers to connect in a relaxed atmosphere while celebrating the sector’s achievements.

Fully funded places are still available for Public Sector delegates from local authorities who have not yet registered.

In addition, places remain open for the DfT Special Recognition Awards – a great opportunity to celebrate and showcase outstanding contributions.
