The Korean ITS innovator Nota AI has explained how the use of Artificial Intelligence will deliver better traffic management, reduced congestion and cleaner air.
It’s written a blog post explaining how C-ITS solution is an innovative solution which has been developed over the years to help enhance traffic infrastructure including alleviation of congestion and improvement for citizens. However, prior testing has been difficult because it cannot be easily deployed in real environments before implementation.
It says challenges the C-ITS industry may face when it comes to verifying solutions include the following:
- Accidents cannot be recreated for the purpose of verifiably testing solutions.
- It is difficult to know whether the traffic volume examination will work properly under varied conditions and an unfavorable climate.
- Traffic optimization solutions are not deployable on actual roads but would need to be for verification of its efficacy in resolving congestion.
The company explains how significance of utilising simulation tools in resolving the current issues is becoming more and more clear. The artificial intelligence startup from South Korea says it has “acknowledged this trend by beginning to use NVIDIA’s Omniverse tool as we strive for success at staying ahead on what will be coming next within the field”.
