The Department for Transport-led Transport Technology Forum has announced the date for its annual Autumn Update conference – it’ll take place on Tuesday 17 November in Birmingham, with TRL as the headline sponsor.
The one-day meeting returns to the IET at Austin Court for the fourth year running. It allows local authorities and the supply chain to spend the day in the same room as central government to share ideas and solutions and discuss key issues around roads technology investment.
The event attracts more than 150 people each year, from senior members of the Department for Transport, local highways and transport managers and suppliers. Local authority delegate places, including catering and refreshments are fully funded thanks to the support of the private sector who have a number of commercial opportunities available, including sponsorship and exhibition stands.
Bookings are open and a full agenda will be available in due course.
Meanwhile the TTF has confirmed it is looking to again hold its annual conference at the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire next April. The venue has hosted this event since 2024. Both events are organised by the Local Council Roads Innovation Group, LCRIG, which supports the work of the TTF.
