UK firms sought to help improve urban logistics in Brazil

British start-ups and SMEs are being urged to take part in a new programme aimed at improving the efficiency of urban logistics in Sao Paulo, known to be one of the most congested cities on earth.

The UK Prosperity Fund Future Cities Programme, with the World Bank, Scambo Consulting and Hackathon Brazil, is promoting the “UK-Brazil Challenge on Urban Logistics”. The initiative consists of an innovation Demo Day that will open the opportunity for Brazilian and British SMEs and Start-ups to present smart solutions for urban mobility.

The Demo Day will select solutions to increase the efficiency of São Paulo’s urban logistics in 2 axes – data sharing related to urban cargo transportation and a solution to increase the efficiency of curb use for loading and unloading operations in the city, including essentially technological solutions and / or solutions with the use of equipment

Registration for the Demo Day will be open until January 13, 2021 and the event will happen completely online.
