AtkinsRéalis, Jacobs and Stantec have secured places on Hampshire County Council’s new four-year, £80 million transport, highways and infrastructure consultancy framework. The multi-disciplinary lot which will run until May 2030, will cover planning, design and asset management services for local roads, structures and associated civil works across the county’s network.
According to Geomechanics.io, consultants can expect work on schemes such as junction upgrades, corridor improvements and resilience measures, with framework call-offs likely to favour teams experienced in UK highways standards and whole-life asset strategies.
The Gen5 Consult – Transport, Highways & Infrastructure Consultancy Framework replaces Hampshire County Council’s existing Place, Connectivity & Infrastructure Professional Services Framework.
It will provide specialist technical transportation and civil engineering professional services, together with infrastructure development and support services.
Lot A covers larger-scale multi-disciplinary consultancy services, including:
- Sustainable and accessible transport infrastructure planning
- Highways, transportation, civil and structural engineering design
- Construction estimating and commercial and financial management
- Safety audit, engineering and management
- Flood and water management and drainage design
- Ecological and environmental services
- Landscape architecture and design
- Infrastructure technology strategy and design
- Intelligent traffic systems
- Building information modelling.
