DfT and TTF headline this year’s Innovation Festival

Delegates attending the LCRIG Innovation Festival will have the opportunity to hear from senior representatives at the Department for Transport (DfT) and Transport Technology Forum (TTF).

The event, which is taking place on the 4 and 5 July at Newark Showground, will bring together local authorities, central government, the supply chain, associations and academia.

The overarching theme for this year’s event is ‘Showcasing emerging technology and maintenance solutions’ and LCRIG Content Director Alec Peachey will co-chair a session on this subject.

The panel will be made up of Matthew Eglinton, Head of Local Highways Maintenance, Innovation, and Resilience, Local Infrastructure at the Department for Transport (DfT); Darren Capes, Manager of the Transport Technology Forum (TTF) and ITS Policy Lead, DfT; along with representatives from Innovate UK and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV).
