The Institute for Driverless Transport’s Research Roadmap is taking shape. It maps the unanswered questions that will decide how driverless transport affects the UK, across economics, social change, job displacement, and security, giving the AV ecosystem a common framework to direct research, funding and attention.
The Roadmap will be fully and officially launched later in the year, but in order to get there, the Institute is interviewing a huge range of people: operators, regulators, affected businesses, technology providers, transport authorities, unions, civil society, insurers, lawyers, academics and more.
