Highways Heroes and Driving for Better Business launch White Knight Award

Highways Heroes has announced a new award for this year’s ceremony, the White Knight Award

Delivered in partnership with Driving for Better Business the award will be given to a non supply chain partner whose actions had an undoubted impact.

So what is meant by a White Knight and who should enter?

In simple terms, it is anyone who has shown courage, bravery, noble qualities or simply went over and above to help or support someone or a situation – a kind of unsung hero or to use another phrase, a Knight in Shining Armour, according to the organisers of Highways Heroes.

Speaking about the award, Kevin Robinson, Founder of the Highways Heroes Awards said: “For a number of year’s we have had a very close working relationship with the team at Driving for Better Business with both organisations sharing the same ethos of making working conditions better for the people we put to work, so to be collaborating on this awards”

“The award follows the same theme as the rest of the Heroees, with the only difference being that the White Knight awards will be restricted to organisations and individuals from outside of the supply chain.”
