There is only one week left to enter the DfT Special Recognition Awards 2026, with entries closing at 5pm on Friday 21 August.
Now in their seventh year, the awards celebrate the individuals, teams, projects and partnerships making an outstanding contribution to the highways and transport sector.
Whether it’s an innovative technology, a successful partnership, a project accelerating decarbonisation or an individual who has gone above and beyond, this is your opportunity to give these achievements the recognition they deserve.
With categories covering innovation, technology, collaboration, net zero, apprentices, employer initiatives and outstanding contribution, there are plenty of opportunities to showcase the exceptional work taking place across our sector.
The winners will be announced at the DfT Special Recognition Awards ceremony on Wednesday 7 October, as part of Strictly Highways at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
