Ramboll recruits three Directors to Highways Division to support growth ambitions

Engineering, design and environmental consultant Ramboll has announced the appointments of Rosie Simon as National Highways Key Account Director, Anne Millar as Highways Commercial Director, and Peter Takács, as Bridges Director. The new hires will support Ramboll’s long-term commitment to growing its Highways division.

Ms Simon brings significant experience with a career that has spanned 25 years. She has worked with contractors and consultancies delivering major infrastructure projects and taken a leading role in working collaboratively with clients including National Highways, Network Rail, High Speed 2 and Local Authorities. In her role she will strengthen and grow Ramboll’s position and services for one of their key clients and brings extra capacity to the Highways division by supporting delivery excellence, customer safety and driving sustainable solutions, which the business is implementing as standard on every project.

Mr Takács joins from AECOM as Bridges Director. He brings huge technical expertise from his 24-year career in bridge and structural engineering and will further strengthen Ramboll’s market-leading design service as well as further growing its bridges advisory services. Peter has worked on some of the most significant schemes in recent years including A303 Stonehenge, Silvertown Tunnel, Crossrail and the Stockholm bypass.

Ms Millar joins Ramboll as Commercial Director from Stantec and brings 18 years’ experience in commercial delivery; managing cost, risk, and programmes, especially in major highway schemes. In this newly created role, she brings extra capacity to support major project delivery, ensuring alignment with clients’ commercial needs, whilst providing clients with cost and programme certainty.
