SMEs invited to join UK stand at ITS European Congress

Small and medium-sized enterprises who are delivering cutting-edge transport technology solutions are being invited to join a UK Pavilion at the ITS European Congress in Lisbon in May.

The organisation of the stand is being undertaken by the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG), on behalf of the Transport Technology Forum, which is looking for expressions of interest from SMEs.  These expressions are non-binding and are being requested in order to gauge how many organisations may want to be involved.

The UK has a tradition of promoting the country’s ITS innovations at World and European Congresses.  LCRIG organised the successful exhibition stand at the ITS World Congress in Los Angeles in September 2022, and the UK has had a presence at, among others, World Congresses in Hamburg (2021, pictured), Singapore (2019), and Copenhagen (2018), as well as European Congresses in Eindhoven (2019) and Strasburg (2017).

SMEs wanting to be involved in showcasing their products in Lisbon simply need to give details of their business, why they want to be part of the UK Pavilion and how they think attending will be of benefit to them.  There will be a cost to participating, and companies must commit to having someone on stand when the exhibition is open.  Expressing an interest in being on the stand does not necessarily guarantee a place.

The ITS European Congress takes place from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 May at the Lisbon Congress Centre.
