Traffic technology group SWARCO is offering local authorities a new flexible modular software platform to help traffic managers “improve mobility for citizens”.

MyCity includes traditional traffic management functionality such as traffic signal monitoring and control, car park guidance and VMS management and journey time monitoring whilst enabling the plug-in of new features such as EV charging management, micromobility, floating car data and air quality management.

The Company says it’s a holistic solution with Carl Dyer, CTO at SWARCO UK, explaining, “Various legacy systems, data sources and information systems can be easily integrated to determine meaningful information on the current and future traffic situation and determine an optimisation strategy.”
