ITS Australia is calling on the nation’s most forward-thinking transport innovators, researchers and leaders to showcase their impact, with nominations now open for the 17th ITS Australia Awards, held in Brisbane on Thursday, 18 February 2027.

The Awards shine a national spotlight on the projects and people delivering real-world outcomes across Australia’s Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector. From connected, electric and automated vehicles to transport data, infrastructure and research, the Awards highlight the individuals and organisations driving meaningful change.

The Awards will bring together industry leaders, government representatives and innovators to celebrate excellence shaping the future of transport.

Individuals and organisations are encouraged to submit nominations aligned to the category descriptors, demonstrating innovation, leadership and measurable impact.

ITS Australia CEO Susan Harris said the Awards provide a powerful platform to celebrate industry success and elevate the work driving national progress.

“This is an opportunity to recognise the people and projects delivering tangible outcomes – from advancing new technologies through to improving safety, efficiency and sustainability across Australia’s transport networks,” Ms Harris said.

“We know there is incredible work happening right across the country, and we encourage the sector to put forward those achievements for national recognition.”

This is an opportunity to showcase your work, demonstrate impact, and gain national recognition within Australia’s ITS community.
