CIHT announces winners of its first ever digital awards

The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation has announced the winners of its first ever digital awards. The awards across 11 categories attracted over 150 high quality entries.

Martin Tugwell, CIHT President said: “The CIHT awards recognise the remarkable achievements of those working in highways and transportation and are one of the most respected events in our sector. Although we are in testing times, it is evident that highways and transportation will continue to play a central and vital role in supporting a prosperous, equitable and healthy society.

“The winning entries this year are a fantastic example of how we can produce fantastic projects, schemes and initiatives that help to shape the communities and the environment we live in.”

The winning entries were:

  • CIHT / Ringway Climate Change Award – Connect Plus Services – State of the art thin surface course trials on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) containing 50% reclaimed asphalt – see more here
