Dynniq wins contract to upgrade signals on Liverpool’s Strand project

Dynniq is set to continue its traffic signals upgrade work in Liverpool with news that it has been awarded work on the prestigious Strand Refurbishment project.

Working alongside GRAHAM Civil Engineering, we will support the radical eco-friendly redesign of one of Liverpool’s most famous roads.

The iconic Strand, which runs past the Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool One and the Liver Building to name a few, is due to undergo some major improvements thanks to the £22m Strand Refurbishment scheme which will help the city reduce congestion, improve air quality and improve safety. A key element of the project is to make the city more cycle-friendly by installing a new cycle lane that will connect it to the city’s 65-mile pop-up cycle network allowing cyclists to ride the full length of the Mersey.

The project will see five individual traffic signals sites upgraded including the deployment of our PTC-1 controller, TLED Signals and Chameleon Outstation over the next few months.
