Highway contractor Eurovia Surfacing has announced Paul Kidd has been appointed as its Development Director.

Since joining the group in 2007 as a Contracts Manager, its says Mr Kidd has progressed through various roles including Operations Manager, Business and Divisional Manager, which led to his promotion to Technical Director in 2019, responsible for technical support at Eurovia Surfacing.

Writing on LinkedIn, the company says that in his new role, he will lead on the development and implementation of technical plant and equipment solutions supporting the company’s global approach to reducing carbon emissions.

It adds that, with extensive experience in the technical aspects of materials and applications, he will play a pivotal role in shaping our future direction as we advance its business strategy and prioritise the delivery of safe, innovative, and sustainable services for our clients.

Paul Kidd said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new role at Eurovia and looking forward to this next chapter of my career, working closely with our teams to further develop the business and add value to the services we provide to our clients.”
