First time exhibitors prepare for JCT Traffic Signals Symposium

With a record number of exhibitors taking part in this year’s popular JCT Traffic Signals Symposium, it stands to reason that new companies will be part of the event, and six are looking forward to joining the exhibition floor for the first time this year.

Austar, City Science, INRIX, Messagemaker Displays, ngenius and Starling Technologies have signed up with more than 25 other companies to meet with the country’s local authority signals engineers, consultants and solutions developers at the two-day conference on 14 and 15 September at Nottingham Trent University.

They join returning exhibitors AGD, Aimsun, ARTSM, Clearview Intelligence, Hydro, IHE, ITS (UK), JCT Consultancy, NAL, NOW Wireless, PDS, PTV, RTEM, Sm@rt Technology, Smart Video & Sensing, SWARCO, SRL, Teledyne FLIR, telent, TRL Software, TRP, TWM Traffic Control Systems, Via East Midlands, VivaCity, Westcotec and Yunex Traffic.

“After last year’s return to a face-to-face Symposium, it’s great how our previous exhibitors have shown such enthusiasm to sign up again this year,” commented event organiser John Nightingale of JCT.  “Adding in six such interesting and different exhibitors with cutting-edge solutions enhances the event and gives people even more reason to come.  Basically, anyone who is anyone in the traffic management industry will be in Nottingham next month.”

The Symposium not only involves a must-see exhibition, but also features 24 presentations and speeches and social events including the Highways News-sponsored barbecue to kick off the networking on Tuesday 13 September and the Swarco Drinks Reception and Yunex Traffic Gala Dinner the night after.  The free-to-attend MOVA User Group takes place during the day on the Tuesday.
