The Local Government Technical Advisers Group (LGTAG) and the National Highways and Transportation (NHT) Network have formally agreed a new partnership.
This collaboration brings together LGTAG’s technical expertise and national professional network with the NHT Network’s strength in benchmarking and performance management. Together, we aim to deliver greater value for local authorities and the wider highways and transport sector across the UK.
Emily See, President of LGTAG said: “LGTAG’s members are the technical backbone of highway and transport delivery. Working more closely with the NHT Network means we can bring data, insight and guidance together to improve services for the public”
Jon Munslow, Chair of the NHT Network added that: ”We’re excited to strengthen our relationship with LGTAG and build lasting value for our members by connecting benchmarking data with real-world technical leadership.”
Through this partnership, they organisations say they will collaborate on joint research, policy engagement, training events, and greater data sharing – all designed to benefit members and the sector as a whole.
Amongst their range of work on highway issues, NHT run the Public Satisfaction Survey about highways and public transport.
