Re-thinking mobility: the role of cycling in the post-pandemic recovery

The coronavirus has significantly impacted how we move around our cities and communities, and affected people’s willingness to travel in crowded situations.

With social distancing measures in place we have seen a significant reduction in public transport usage and many have turned to cycling as way of getting around.

AECOM’s James Warfe says this opens up an opportunity to make this short-term trend a long-term habit as part of our post-pandemic recovery.
