One of the industry’s leading providers of pavement management services, Roadern, has won the Equity-Backed StartUp of the Year Award in the NorthWest StartUp Awards.
Roadern, founded in 2021, helps local authorities and other road operators by providing fast and more accurate pavement and traffic sign and markings data, enabling them to make more proactive and detailed decisions to improve their network.
Speaking about the win, Afarin Kheirati, Chief Executive and Co-founder of Roadern said: “I am delighted that Roadern has been recognised for playing its part in using innovative technology to help provide local authorities and road operators in the UK with more accurate data to help improve the state of their road networks at a time when we have a huge maintenance backlog and need to strike a fine balance between reactive and proactive repairs.”
Supported by Airwallex, Inventya, Join-Talent and V-Run, the UK StartUp Awards were established to highlight the success of start-ups across ten UK nations and regions and to celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.
