Two of the leading voices in future-facing mobility have combined to deliver an essential resource for anyone involved in the development of transport.
‘The Global Directory of Autonomy’ maps the key OEMs and entrepreneurs involved in the creation of highly automated transport and personal mobility solutions. Over 40 pages, it features organisations involved in the development of autonomy.
The directory is the joint effort of Smart Mobility Living Lab London, an urban mobility test bed based in London run by global transportation consultancy TRL, and April Six, a specialist mobility marketing agency with more than 37 years of experience in automotive and mobility.
In its first edition, ‘The Global Directory of Autonomy’ lists hundreds of organisations from around the world whose products and concepts could become part of the fabric of future transport globally. As a living document it provides a snapshot of the autonomous technology market and provides a launch point for researchers to take a deeper dive into the sector and create their own view of the sector for example by technology type, by country, by technology readiness, by market capitalisation values, by collaborations or any other perspective.
“The boundaries between hardware and software are blurring. Infrastructure, vehicle and personal technology is no longer clearly defined and so we invite you to explore our map of Journeymakers,” says Lucian Linders, General Manager, Smart Mobility Living Lab.
Sam Smith, Managing Director at April Six, commented: “At April Six, we see ourselves as the first true A to B agency, totally dedicated to delivering marketing solutions for those companies working in the new mobility sector. And so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Smart Mobility Living Lab London to produce this essential directory.”
