Winners announced in Highways England’s framework for consultancy services

Consultants and contractors Costain, Jacobs and Amey have been awarded places on Highways Englands’s framework for consultancy services.

They are the suppliers in the first lot of the framework and will offer technical consulting, engineering advice and research and innovation.

The framework is set to last for four years, and will include specialist and technical consultancy, engineering advice, and procurement advice across the transport bodies.

It will cover work across Highways England projects, as well as Department for Transport projects, works on HS2, and Transport for London contracts. Appointed firms will carry out research and development services as well as consultancy services. Contracts under the framework are likely to be subcontracted to SMEs.

In the second lot, which covers procurement advice; Costain, Arcadis, Pell Frischmann, TRL, Ove Arup and Partners, WSP, Arcadis, PwC, Roswell Wright, and Turner & Townsend were all winners.
