TRL explains SRN asset management

TRL Software is hosting the latest in its series of informative webinars on 7 February, as it explains insights into the management of the road assets on England’s Strategic Road Network.

England’s Strategic Road Network is 4,500 miles (7,250) kilometres in length and worth more than £80 billion. Early in 2023 TRL Software successfully rolled out a new digital pavement asset management system for National Highways called P-AMS.

The new P-AMS system is a configured for National Highways version of TRL Software’s cloud-based digital transport Asset Management product iROADS, which is a commercially available off-the-shelf platform designed for various infrastructure assets. It replaced National Highway’s existing 20-year-old HAPMS platform

The webinar on 7 February at 11am will hear from Sarah Churchman, Principle Advisor – Asset Management Systems at National Highways, who will provide an insight into how collaboration was key to the smooth roll out of P-AMS, and how the software has revolutionised the management of the Strategic Road network with quicker and simpler access to insights about the road network, improving day-to-day decision-making.

Sarah will be joined by TRL Software’s Head of Product Management Subu Kamal and iROADS Product Owner John Proust, who will provide an overview of our future development plans, with the webinar hosted by Highways News Technology Editor, Paul Hutton.
