Sensys Gatso Australia has won a major contract with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to supply and install next-generation traffic enforcement systems at existing red light camera sites across the state. The contract includes the upgrade of existing camera enforcement systems and introduces speed enforcement capability at the existing locations. The program is scheduled for delivery over the next six months.
This agreement is another significant milestone for Sensys Gatso Australia and reinforces the company’s strong foothold in the Australian market which includes road safety projects across the country. The new agreement extends the company’s long track record of supporting Queensland’s road safety objectives and demonstrates how Sensys Gatso’s reliability, history, and innovation can deliver practical benefits for road authorities. The new systems will replace previous-generation Sensys Gatso technology while making use of existing site infrastructure allowing Queensland to benefit from the company’s latest technology while supporting efficient and cost-effective deployment.
