The UK’s transport technology industry will again be taking centre stage at a major event next week, with a large exhibition stand at the Intelligent Transport Systems European Congress in Seville (19-21 May).
The event, attended by more than 2,500 people, features the UK Pavilion, with 12 suppliers sharing the space to highlight the wide range of solutions delivered by British business. The Pavilion is again delivered by the Transport Technology Forum, supported by the Local Council Roads Innovation Group, LCRIG, Transport for West Midlands and ITS UK.
There will also be a number of receptions on the stand, including a tradition British afternoon tea and drinks reception sponsored by WJ Group on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm, where senior UK government officials will share their updates, and representatives from the Spanish representatives from the UK Department for Business and Trade will also speak. There will also be a joint session involving the Transport Technology Forum and event organisers ERTICO-ITS Europe discussing cross-border transport technology challenges and solutions. This takes place at midday on Wednesday.
ITS UK will host a “meet the Nationals” session on Tuesday at 10.30 bringing together ITS associations from across Europe to introduce themselves, and to give a short overview of the ITS sector in their respective country.
Throughout the week, delegates will have the chance to find out more about the 2027 ITS World Congress in Birmingham which will bring together more than 15,000 industry professionals from around the world.
The stand’s participants are (in alphabetical order): AECOM, AGD Systems, Agilysis, AIM, ANGOKA, Immense, MAV, Nicander, Now Wireless, Teragence, VESOS and WJ.
The TTF has previously led the UK Pavilions at the ITS European Congress in Lisbon and ITS World Congresses in Los Angeles and Dubai.
