Closure dates have been revealed for emergency repairs to take place in Suffolk on the A14 Higham Railway Bridge. The closures will take place throughout July, with a diversion route in place.
National Highways said: “We’re doing emergency repair work on the A14 Higham Railway Bridge, near Kentford. This will ensure the structure remains safe and in a good working condition.”
Weekend closures have been announced on the following dates:
- Saturday July 5 to Sunday July 6
- Saturday July 19 to Sunday July 20
- Saturday July 26 to Sunday July 27
To work safely, National Highways will need to close the A14 eastbound between junctions 38 to 43. Drivers will have to sxit the A14 at Junction 38 onto the A11 northbound and continue on the A11 to the London Road roundabout.
