University gives JCT Traffic Signals Symposium official clearance to run September event

Officials at Nottingham Trent University have officially approved JCT’s plans for running a successful and safe Traffic Signals Symposium at their site in September.

The University has agreed the Covid Event Safety Guide and confirmed that, barring any change in Government advice, the event is able to proceed in its traditional format on the 15 and 16 September, with the MOVA User Group meeting and the event’s first social event taking place the day before.

It means the JCT Traffic Signals Symposium can go ahead as it always has with a wide range of signals-related conference material alongside a record 25 exhibitors who have committed to the event many with generous sponsorship.  This guarantees that the two evening socials, the barbeque on the Tuesday night and the gala dinner on the Wednesday night are well supported with complementary refreshments and the usual networking activities.

“It’s all systems go for the Symposium now, and the feedback I’m getting from exhibitors and delegates is that they can’t wait to meet in person,” commented JCT Director John Nightingale who runs the event.  “We have a robust JCT strategy in place, while Nottingham Trent University has its safety event guide, meaning you really can book with confidence.”

JCT is giving a booking guarantee which means exhibitors and delegates know that if for any reason the event cannot take place, they will get a full conference refund (subject to any restrictions on hotel rooms from official accommodation provider Premier Inn).

The JCT Traffic Signals Symposium takes place on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th  of September with MOVA user group on the Tuesday  14th September at The Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham Trent University.  To sign up as a delegate go to:
